Newbold Verdon Equestrian Centre is a new, purpose built competition and training centre conveniently situated on the B582 in the village of Newbold Verdon, Leicestershire.

Welcome to Our Training & Competition Centre

Sally and Martin Bates have been running a successful BHS Approved livery yard and unaffiliated competitions since 1997.
In 2016 they decided to further develop the training and competition side of the equestrian centre with the addition of a new 72m x 40m indoor manege and a 60m x 21m outdoor arena.
When complete, the development will include a floodlit hard standing car park, electric hook-ups, cafe/meeting room and viewing gallery.

With the building complete we were able to get Chris Bailey Electrical Engineers to come and start fitting the lights and electrics – no mean feat with 60 LED lights in the indoor alone!
  • Update 2 - Planning and staff changes
After discussions with the whole team, we decided to apply for planning for the cafeteria and office with a viewing gallery, this was a slight change to our original plans but we all agreed the best decision.
